First of all, understand the problems that may occur in the installation and use of diesel generators in the plateau area:
1, relative to the plain area, the power of the diesel engine used on the plateau decreased seriously;2. Due to the serious decline in power rate, "big horse and small car" are needed, which results in high investment cost and huge volume. In view of the above problems, we believe that it is of high academic necessity and social and economic value to carry out the project research on the diesel generator set in fixed use in the plateau area.
Through the above data show that the main factors affecting the output power of the unit are: atmospheric pressure, air oxygen content and air temperature. As for the direct sunlight radiation intensity and wind speed, since the unit is installed in the indoor use, the impact of these two items is not obvious.
Secondly, the diesel generator equipment for specific analysis:
1) due to the low pressure in the plateau area, thin air, less oxygen component of the generator set, the generator set ambient temperature is low, the generator set is especially for the diesel engine with natural intake, the generator set due to insufficient intake and the combustion is worse, so that the diesel engine can not issue the original calibration power.Even if the basic structure of the diesel engine is the same, the calibrated power of the diesel engine, the displacement of the generator set and the rotational speed of the generator set are different, so their ability to work in the plateau is not the same. For each 1000m increase in the use of the generator set in the plateau, the power non-supercharger reduces about 6~ 10%, and the supercharger is about 2~5%. Therefore, the oil supply should be appropriately reduced according to the local altitude when the generator is used in the plateau for a long time.
2) The characteristics of the plateau environment are that the atmospheric pressure, air density and air oxygen content will decrease with the rise of altitude.Combined with the above combustion theory, it can be seen that the diesel engine's diesel combustion is insufficient and the explosive force decreases, thus reducing the output power of the diesel engine, which has the greatest impact on the diesel engine.
3) Because the diesel engine is generally in accordance with the atmospheric pressure of 100 kPa (altitude of 100m) using conditions of nominal power, when the atmospheric pressure is reduced (altitude rise), the output power will decline. When the ambient temperature is constant, the atmospheric pressure drops from 1000hPa (100m above sea level) to 613hPa (4,000 m above sea level), and the output nominal power of the diesel engine with supercharger drops about 35% ~ 50%.
